The Atomic Scaling Framework®
The 3P3R Method®
Definition
The 3P3R Method® is the six-pillar framework at the centre of Atomic Scaling, created by Ludovic Bodin: three operating pillars — People, Prediction and Playbook — and three growth pillars — Reach, Retention and Revenue.
The problem it names: Scaling advice arrives as disconnected tactics, so teams cannot tell which constraint is actually binding.
The name is the structure. 3P is how the company operates.3R is how it grows. Six pillars, in that order, every time — and growth moves at the speed of whichever one is weakest.
3P · How you operate
People
The smallest team that can win, and the talent density to keep it small.
Prediction
Knowing what the numbers will do before they do it.
Playbook
The repeatable system that survives the founder leaving the room.
3R · How you grow
Reach
Getting in front of the people who should already be customers.
Retention
Keeping them long enough for the economics to compound.
Revenue
Turning attention into money without adding headcount.
Where it came from
The gaming industry built the highest revenue-per-employee businesses in history — tiny teams shipping global phenomena. Supercell reached billions in revenue with cells of a handful of people. Rovio put Angry Birds in front of five billion downloads. 3P3R is what those operating principles look like once they are lifted out of games and written down for any company that would rather grow performance than headcount.
In an AI-native company the same six pillars hold, but the operators change: agents run the work and humans hold judgment, taste and override. That org is a HAAO.
